bOSMO Minting Bug Leaves Token Underbacked as Plan Excludes Later Buyers

Image: TokenPost

A live flaw in bOSMO’s minting contract is leaving the token with little backing and putting liquidity pools at risk. A compensation plan excludes people who bought bOSMO after a snapshot used to determine eligibility. The bug still allows bOSMO to be minted cheaply, so the backing problem remains active. The flaw leaves liquidity pools exposed while bOSMO has little backing. Because minting remains possible, the issue is ongoing rather than a past incident that has been contained. The snapshot draws a line between holders eligible for compensation and later buyers who are excluded. The plan therefore does not extend to people who acquired bOSMO after that reference point.
