Binance will halt Filecoin deposits and withdrawals ahead of an Oct. 19 network upgrade, with the transfer pause beginning one hour before the planned hard fork while FIL trading remains available. Deposits and withdrawals will stop at 7:59 a.m. ET (11:59 UTC). The upgrade and hard fork are scheduled for block height 6,470,279 and expected at 8:59 a.m. ET (12:59 UTC). Binance will manage the technical work for users. It will restore transfers after the upgraded network is stable and will not issue another notice when deposits and withdrawals reopen.
