Apple kicks off seven-part US dollar high-grade bond sale

The iPhone maker returns to the investment-grade debt market with a multi-tranche offering after a $4.5 billion deal in May 2025 Apple is borrowing again. The company has launched a seven-part, US dollar-denominated high-grade bond sale, its latest trip to a debt market it knows very well. The offering is split into seven parts, known in bond-market language as tranches. Each comes with its own maturity date and interest rate, so investors can choose the one that suits them. The proceeds are expected to support share repurchases, debt repayment and other general corporate purposes. “High-grade” means investment-grade debt. These are bonds from issuers that credit markets consider very likely to pay investors back.
