Anthropic Prepares Model That May Infer Goals From Sparse Prompts

Image: TokenPost
Anthropic is preparing a model that may infer users’ broader aims from sparse prompts, a capability that could change how it responds to software and investing questions. The model may work out what a user wants from a brief request. In one example, a coding request could lead it to surface other defects tied to the issue and ask whether the user wants to address them too. An investment question might elicit an algorithm for estimating how stocks will perform. These scenarios illustrate possible responses, not measured test results. They do not show how accurately the model would infer intent across different users or tasks. Anthropic has not announced the model’s name, release timing or price, and no benchmark results have been disclosed.
