Starknet Launches Starkzap SDK for Shielded Balances and Private Transfers

Image: TokenPost

Starknet launched Starkzap, a software development kit that lets app developers on its Ethereum layer-2 network add shielded balances and private transfers without building the privacy infrastructure themselves. The first wallet phase of Starknet’s optional token privacy rollout was live by June 9, with Ready X and Xverse supporting shielding, private transfers and private swaps. Within STRK20’s shielded pool, public observers cannot see who sent funds, who received them or the amount transferred. Deposits into and withdrawals from the pool, including their amounts, remain visible on-chain. Simon Yoon reports on blockchain technology for TokenPost.
