Optimism will join the Ethereum Institutional Forum in London on November 12, bringing the OP Stack’s role in scaling Ethereum into discussions about institutional finance. The framework powers more than 50 ETH-based chains and processes a majority of Layer 2 and Layer 3 transactions, according to Optimism’s latest statistics. Its participation highlights how ETH’s institutional expansion increasingly depends on infrastructure beyond the main network. The Ethereum Institutional Forum announced that Optimism will participate in its London event on November 12. Optimism co-founder and CTO Karl Floersch is listed among the forum’s speakers, alongside representatives from J.P. Morgan, BlackRock, DTCC and the Ethereum Foundation. The invite-only gathering will focus on ETH’s technical roadmap and its role in institutional finance.
