Ethereum options open interest rose 9.86% from the previous day to $5.85 billion, while daily trading volume totaled $2.7 billion. Calls held the larger share of both measures, but a $2,000 put led trading among individual contracts. Call options dominated outstanding positions and daily activity. The most actively traded contract was nevertheless a put, showing that downside exposure remained part of the mix. As of October 31 at 00:50 UTC, Ethereum options open interest stood at $5.85 billion, up from $5.32 billion the previous day. Daily options volume totaled $2.7 billion. Calls accounted for 62.32% of open interest and puts for 37.68%. By 24-hour trading volume, calls represented 57.02% and puts 42.98%. The call share was higher in outstanding positions than in daily trading.
