Retail-Classified Bitcoin Inflows to Binance Rise 54% in 30-Day Measure

Image: TokenPost

Bitcoin (BTC) inflows to Binance classified as retail transfers increased much faster than whale-classified inflows in the 30-day reading through Oct. 17, widening a gap that tracks potential exchange supply rather than completed sales. The retail-classified total reached $10.78 billion, up 54% from $7 billion in the Aug. 18 reading. Over the same comparison, whale-classified inflows rose 9.5%, to $4.6 billion from $4.2 billion. That left a $6.18 billion difference between the categories, compared with $2.8 billion in the earlier reading. Both figures are 30-day sums, so they describe activity across rolling periods rather than on a single day. They measure Bitcoin moved into Binance, not the value of confirmed sales. Deposits can make coins available for trading, but these readings do not show what holders did after transferring them.
