Gate Adds Index-Priced Bitcoin and Ether Event Contracts

Gate added INDEX event-contract markets for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH), giving its short-term trading product a contract-index settlement option for five- and 15-minute periods alongside its existing TWAP markets. The new INDEX markets settle using Gate’s contract index price and operate independently from the TWAP markets. Gate also introduced one-click order entry with preset amounts of 5, 20 and 100 USDT, as well as a custom amount. A promotion with rewards valued at 100,000 USDT runs from Oct. 22 at 4 a.m. ET through Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. ET (Nov. 5 at 00:00 UTC). Users must register before trading. The first 1,000 qualifying new users whose first trade includes a net purchase of at least 20 USDT can receive a 5.5 USDT voucher.
