Coinbase Bitcoin Order Book Shows $8.63 Million Sell-Side Lead

Image: TokenPost

A Coinbase spot Bitcoin (BTC) order-book snapshot on Oct. 18 showed $25.28 million in nearby sell orders against $16.65 million in buy orders, an $8.63 million sell-side lead. Bitcoin was priced at $81,801 in the snapshot. The reading follows an earlier Coinbase spot Bitcoin order-book snapshot that showed a $7.24 million sell-side edge. Both readings reflect posted orders at a single point in time. Binance’s perpetual futures market also had more sell orders than buy orders, though its imbalance was smaller than Coinbase’s spot-market gap.
