Bitcoin’s one-month realized volatility is about 25%, near summer 2023 levels, while Bitcoin traded at $81,116 at 6:28 p.m. ET (22:28 UTC) Oct. 28, below a band that has turned back four advances this year. The $84,000-to-$85,000 range has capped those advances. Net inflows to U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds totaled about $67 million over the preceding two weeks. On Binance’s spot order book, bids clustered around $78,000 to $79,000, totaling roughly $42 million. Realized losses during declines have shrunk since August, indicating easing selling pressure. The Federal Reserve held its target range at 3.75% to 4.00% on Wednesday. Its decision had been scheduled for 2 p.m. ET (18:00 UTC). A daily close above $85,000 would put Bitcoin above the range’s upper boundary.
