Bitcoin’s estimated seven-day average hashrate climbed above 1,000 exahashes per second, reaching its highest level since March 3 as public miners’ own realized computing power declined. The network had already crossed that threshold earlier in October. Its seven-day average stood at 1,031.61 EH/s on Oct. 17 . The latest comparison marks the highest level since March 3. The network-wide rise contrasts with the first-half figures for publicly traded miners. Their realized hashrate fell 56 EH/s, or 15%, while the broader Bitcoin network’s hashrate declined 10%. Comparable miners’ revenue from high-performance computing and artificial intelligence rose 52% from the first quarter to the second. Bitdeer’s self-mining hashrate reached 82.3 EH/s in September, up from 79.9 EH/s in August and 35 EH/s in September 2025.
