Bitcoin’s derivatives market is carrying $54.78 billion in futures open interest, while options traders are stacking bullish bets around $90,000, $95,000, and $100,000 with bitcoin trading between $79,262 to $81,939 this week. On Thursday, the market’s speculative machinery is humming, although not everyone agrees on which direction the next move takes. According to Coinglass data , aggregate bitcoin futures open interest stands at 672,480 BTC, valued at approximately $54.78 billion. Open interest, which measures outstanding derivatives contracts that have not been settled or closed, increased 0.98% over the past hour, 1.59% over four hours, and 1.46% over 24 hours. The figures suggest traders are adding exposure rather than abandoning the field, although rising open interest alone reveals little about whether bulls or bears are driving the action.
