Image: Crypto Economy

TL;DR Sean Bowe’s draft would end Zcash Community Grants’ automatic 8% block-subsidy stream and redirect that allocation to the Network Sustainability Mechanism. The proposal values ZCG’s holdings net of reported grant liabilities at $125.3 million using an illustrative $1,300 ZEC price, arguing resources can sustain grants. The change remains a draft with no activation height, would not affect ZCG’s existing treasury, and would preserve the separate 12% Coinholder-Controlled Fund allocation.
