Uniswap (UNI) launches TJAR for onchain fee conversion across apps

Uniswap (UNI) has launched TJAR, an onchain fee-conversion system designed to let applications collect revenue in whatever tokens users pay with and settle those fees in a single asset of their choosing, according to the company’s Oct. 29, 2026 announcement. The framework is intended to reduce the need for custom fee-conversion infrastructure while giving apps a way to direct proceeds to a treasury, bridge or burn address. In Uniswap’s description, an app selects the token it wants to receive, sets a price and chooses a destination. Fees accumulate in a Token Jar in the assets received from users, and searchers compete to convert that basket into the chosen token. Once the jar is released, the selected token is delivered to the destination set by the app.
