Internet Computer tops Solana at 2323 TPS: Why is ICP still falling?

However, Internet Computer’s lead in transaction activity offered little relief for its native token, which remained under selling pressure. How did Internet Computer outperform Solana? Internet Computer led Chainspect’s weekly transaction throughput rankings, overtaking Solana after several weeks in second place. The network averaged approximately 2,323 transactions per second (TPS), ahead of Solana’s 1,896 TPS over the same period. Separately, Chainspect reported that Internet Computer processed 256.5 million transactions in one day, averaging 2,969 TPS. That marked its busiest day of the quarter. This was hardly an isolated lead.
