A $20,000 transfer between Hyundai Motor America and Hyundai Motor Mexico averaged seven minutes in a stablecoin pilot, while Axiym’s payment volume on Avalanche exceeded $2 billion. Axiym’s cumulative stablecoin payment volume on Avalanche exceeded $2 billion. Its third-quarter 2026 volume was $529 million, 4.4 times the year-earlier figure. The pilot converted dollars into Tether (USDT), transferred the tokens over Avalanche and converted them back to dollars in Mexico. Transfer and verification averaged seven minutes, compared with a three-to-four-hour benchmark for traditional interbank transfers. That is roughly 96% to 97% less elapsed time. Hyundai Card designed the remittance process and led reviews of regulatory, accounting, tax, legal and internal-control issues.
