1inch Adds ZeroShadow Tool for DeFi Address Identification and Blocking

Image: TokenPost

1inch has integrated ZeroShadow’s TIPzs threat intelligence platform, which is described as enabling identification and blocking of suspicious addresses within two to 10 seconds. The tool adds a faster address-screening step for decentralized finance (DeFi) services. 1INCH cannot be frozen at the token level. Blocking an address from 1inch services does not freeze 1INCH. In response to a Binance-linked theft, 1inch blocked related addresses from its decentralized app, wallet and API within an hour. Those restrictions applied to access to its services, while the stolen tokens remained beyond its control at the token level. 1inch previously explained why stolen 1INCH cannot be frozen . Simon Yoon reports on blockchain technology for TokenPost. Send corrections or tips to info@tokenpost.com.
